About Me

A Quick Hello!!!

Hi!  I'm Risa and I just wanted to introduce myself to you.

I am a lover of Jesus first and foremost.  Then comes my husband, kids (I mean teenagers), photography, friends and facebook.  Pinterest is moving onto this list very quickly.

Now, on a personal level, I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years and I am still madly, deeply in love amid all the chaos and busyness of life. He is my anchor and we compliment each other so well. I am a little sad about my children growing up so quickly but I am determined to enjoy every season of my life.
I have been homeschooling for 12 years and have increased my love of learning through that.  I am always trying to gain knowledge and learn something new everyday.  I love change and get very bored when things stay the same for too long.

I've known since I was 13 that I had a passion for photography and now I'm in a position to see that dream come to pass.  I am so excited to see Living Legacy Photography grow and I hope that you will join me.  I am having such a great time with my Canon  EOS 60d and am looking forward to getting more lenses and equipment as I go.
I believe the most important part of photography is having a knowledge of why an image looks the way it does.  My goal is to get what I see in my heart into my art.  The best way to do this consistently is through knowledge and not luck.  I have taken several photography classes and am expanding what I know on a daily basis.

I would love to meet you and am open to anything you want to know about me.  Have a wonderful day and hope to hear from you soon.

About This Blog

This page is to give you a glimpse of my style. It is still evolving at the moment but is quickly becoming what I envisioned.

As I learn and grow in photography you will see that I will capture a purity in my work that will draw you into the person.
I also like a very processed look and that will continue to increase.

If this is what your looking for in your images I would love to meet you and schedule and appointment. If not, then I would still love to hear from you.

Enjoy browsing through my portraits and have a blessed day.

Risa
